The evening begins with dance classes at 7pm followed by open dance time from 8:30pm to 10pm. No partner necessary; Singles, couples and all ages welcome. Music is a West Coast Swing mix of Blues, R&B, Pop, Funk along with other popular favorites; Nightclub Two-Step, Country Two-step, Cha Cha, Foxtrot, Waltz, Hustle, Salsa, and Line Dances. Music requests welcome. Full bar service available.

We hold our Annual Benefit Dance in loving honor of our dear Raul Ante, Rascal, and Rocky, benefiting two special charities: Nine Lives Foundation and Pets in Need. Both organizations are no-kill shelters and 501(c)(3) non-profit charities.

For many years, our Benefit Dance has proudly supported these two pet rescue organizations. With so many animals in need right now, we encourage you to consider donating to these—or any of your favorite charities—if you are able.

Wags & Whiskers Annual Benefit Dances – 2025 Review

Many thanks to everyone who attended our Benefit Dances and supported this very worthwhile cause. Together, we enjoyed some fun activities while raising funds for the Nine Lives Foundation and Pets In Need animal rescue charities.

A huge thank you to Tori Muir for her help with much of the organization, and to our co-DJ Ruben Sison, special guest instructors Kevin & Nataliya Kane, our fabulous team, and all the wonderful helpers who brought our “fun” decorations to life. And of course, thank you to everyone who attended and donated.

With your generous support, we were able to donate a total of $1,100—$550 to each shelter. A million thanks to all who contributed to this meaningful cause.

Wishing everyone a happy and safe holiday season. We’re so looking forward to the new year and many more dances together!
